First we will create the dough. We start with flour and salt, and slowly add water as we knead. Finally, we add most of the oil and shape it in a loaf. We apply the rest of the oil on top of it.
We place the dough in a container and let it rest for a good hour.
A little before the end of time, we peel and then grate our apples.
After our dough has rested, we place it on kitchen tablecloth and roll it out and stretch it as thin as possible.
We squeeze our grated apples so that we wont have too moisty mix and then distribute them evenly on the rolled dough. We continue with our sugar, cinnamon and melted butter in the same way.
With the help of the tablecloth we roll the dough with filling into a roll. We slice it and place it in a baking tray. Brush it with a beaten egg to achieve that golden colour. Bake at 185 °C ( 365 °F ) for 45 min.
