Ingredients
    Dough
  • 300 grams Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Oil
  • 1 Egg
  • 125 milliliters Water
Instructions
    Mlinci
  1. First we mix all the ingredients and knead well. After we get a nice loaf we let it rest in a closed container for 30 min.

  2. Next we spit our dough into 5 equal smaller pieces and roll them out.

  3. We place the rolled dough into a baking tray, so that they don't overlap and prick them with a fork.

  4. Finally we bake them at 200 °C ( 392 °F ) for 12 min or until they get golden brown.

After baking, we get Mlinci that can be stored or used immediately

  5. Serve
  6. Mlinci are best served with a roast meat. We really suggest this way as you can easily extract juice and fat from the meat and use it for giving Mlinci that extra touch.

  7. We break the Mlinci in smaller pieces and pour boiling salted water over them. We cover them and let them rest for few minutes until they are nice and soft. At the end we strain them and get rid of the extra water.

  8. Now that our Mlinci are cooked, we can add our juice and fat from our main dish - roasted meat and mix.

That's how easy and quick it is, you can serve them at your lunch and stun everyone at the table with the new traditional side dish from the Balkans!
