Description

Chocolate chip cookies are super simple to create, but that doesn't mean they are any less delicious! Quite the opposite, as they are by far my favorite cookies. They only require 8 ingredients to prepare and the best part: You probably already have all the ingredients in your home! Jus try not to eat up all the cookie dough before you start baking!

Just make sure you use enough chocolate chips! Remember, the more chocolate in your cookies, the more happiness they will bring in your kitchen! But you don't have to use just chocolate chips, you can easily replace them by breaking up your favorite chocolate into small chunks and mixing it in there!

Also if you run out of brown sugar, you can just replace it with regular sugar but be careful. I did that in my latest batch and my chocolate chip cookies were a bit too hard and chewy when they finally cooled down. But that should only become a problem if your family doesn't inhale them straight out of the oven.

Ingredients
  • 400 grams chocolate chips (or regular/dark chocolate)
  • 230 grams granulated sugar
  • 220 grams brown sugar
  • 230 grams unsalted butter
  • 430 grams all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 13 grams baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract (you can use vanilla sugar if you have it)
Instructions
  1. Make sure you preheat your oven to 190 degrees C. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside. Keep in mind you will need atleast 3 baking sheets.

  2. In a large enough bowl mix together your flour, salt, and baking powder, and then set aside.

  3. Now mix together your melted butter with both kinds of suger until combined. It's also the time to beat in your eggs and vanilla extract until combined (about one minute).

  4. Combine your wet mixture with the dry mixture until well combined.

  5. Add your chocolate chips and mix well, so every part of the dough has plenty of chocolate!

  6. Now it's time to make your cookies if you didn't eat all the dough already. Use a tablespoon to mold little balls for your cookies. I used one tablespoon for each ball. Line up the dough balls on your baking sheet. Make sure you leave some space between them as the balls will take their cookie shape while baking.

  7. Bake your cookies in the preheated oven for about 8-10 minutes. You'll know to take them out when they are starting to turn brown jsut a little bit.

  8. Repeat the process multiple times if you have only one baking sheet and enjoy the perfect chocolate chip cookies!
